Making volume keys work with XFCE

Simply go to the main menu -> Settings -> Keyboard -> Application
Shortcuts. Press the Add button, and, for the volume up,
use amixer set Master 1+ (or bigger steps, if you so wish),
press the volume up key on your keyboard when asked,
do the same for volume up, except replace the plus sign
with a minus. As for the Mute command, use
amixer set Master toggle. This was done with an
up-to-date Arch Linux installation, but I doubt there will
be differences from other distros. Well, except maybe
some will already have implemented those commands.
